Choose the report
Say whether you need an initial inventory, check-in, check-out or interim visit. Confirm whether the property is furnished and which areas are included.
Agree the timing
Arrange the inspection around cleaning, maintenance and key handover. A report should describe the condition at the agreed point in time.
Make the property accessible
Arrange keys, entry instructions and access to relevant rooms and storage. Tell the clerk about items that belong to someone else or are excluded.
Keep the record together
Retain the agreed report, photographs and related handover documents with the property records so they can be found when needed.
