Define the premises

Say whether the request covers the whole building, one unit or several units. Explain the current use and any shared building services.

Floor plans and approximate floor area help scope the assessment. Have relevant heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting information available.

Confirm who can open relevant rooms and plant areas. Tell UPC about site induction requirements and access arrangements before the visit.

Share the purpose of the assessment and any transaction deadline. Scope, availability and report timing need confirmation before work is agreed.
